In the center of Mascherode our BoardingHouse Mascherode has originated from a former manor. It lies very idyllic and quietly in the green – yet it is only 10 minutes by car to the city centre.

Commercial transport from Braunschweig main station:
Bus 411 (platform. F) in direction Welfenplatz till bus stop Schulgasse. Walking across the street to the “Alte Kirchstraße” you will see the BoardingHouse Mascherode.
Taxi from Braunschweig main station:
About 10-15 Euro. Duration ca. 10 min.
Arrival by Car
Approaching from A2 (Hannover, Berlin):
Motorway A2, exit “Braunschweig-Nord” to motorway A391 direction “Salzgitter”. At motorway interchange “Braunschweig-Südwest” remain right side and head motorway A39 in direction to “Bad Harzburg/Wolfenbüttel/BS-Süd”. At motorway interchange “Braunschweig-Süd” exit right onto L630 in direction “BS-Südstadt”. At the exit “Braunschweig-Süd” (1.traffic lights) turn right onto “Salzdahlumer Straße”. After 880m turn right and stay at “Salzdahlumer Straße” in direction to Mascherode (just before the fuel station). In Mascherode turn left 2nd street called “An der Sporthalle”. Next crossroad you turn onto “Alte Kirchstraße”. After 10 m you will find the BoardingHouse Mascherode right hand side.
Approaching from A7 (Kassel/Salzgitter):
Motorway A7, motorway intersection “Salzgitter” stay half right side onto A39 direction “Berlin/Braunschweig/Salzgitter”. After 30 km stay half right side at motorway intersection “Braunschweig-Südwest” onto A39 direction “Helmstedt/Bad Harzburg/BS-Süd”. At motorway intersection “Braunschweig-Süd” turn right onto L630 direction “BS-Südstadt”. At the exit “Braunschweig-Süd” (1.traffic lights) turn right onto “Salzdahlumer Straße”.
